**What is PowerPoint Karaoke?
Graduate students! Are you great at improvising presentations or coming up with convincing arguments on the spot? Are you terrible at improvising presentations or coming up with convincing arguments on the spot? Either way, thinking on your feet when something goes wrong or when someone asks you a totally unexpected question is a useful skill. PowerPoint Karaoke is an event where you can showcase (or practice) your quick wit as you present a PowerPoint slide deck on a topic you do not know ahead of time using slides that you have never seen before. It's like Jackbox's Talking Points, but with an academic twist focusing on pertinent modern topics.
Specifics: Two graduate student presenters (picked randomly) will have three minutes to present six slides on a specific topic. If interested in participating, be sure to register for the event as a participant.
