The DoW SMART Scholars program funds up to five years for Bachelors, Masters, or PhD students in STEM fields. Scholars are guaranteed work in their field as a civilian employee post graduation. Citizens of the U.S., UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand are eligible to apply.
The National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship program provides 3 year of salary and tuition for PhD students in STEM fields. There is no service requirement and students retains the rights to their research. U.S. citizenship is required.
