Please note that the current co-terminal program will be replaced by the new Accelerated Masters program for students who joined RPI as undergraduates in Fall 2024 or later.

RPI provides undergraduate students the opportunity to pursue an accelerated master's degrees. Students can pursue a master’s degree in the same academic discipline as their bachelor's degree, or they can apply to programs outside of their undergraduate department. Students have the option to earn their master's degree on a full-time or part-time basis at the Troy campus. There is also the RPI at Work option (with the exception of the R@W MBA program), which is completely part-time and 100% online.
Students applying to the accelerated master's are required to graduate with their bachelor's degree in up to 8 semesters (10 semesters for B. Arch students), with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Application Deadlines
Students can apply during their junior or senior year and for course planning purposes, students are encouraged to apply as early as possible (see application process link on the right for specific credit requirements). Students who apply during their junior year can apply at any time. Students who apply during their senior year are required to meet the application deadlines shown below which define when the application should be in the hold queue in Slate and ready for OGE review.
